Our mission is to explore new opportunities in recreational cannabis and consumer wellness products, featuring the other cannabinoids such as CBD, CBG, CBN, and of course THC.
Our secure 5-acre cultivation site is located in Bow Island, Alberta. The facility includes 4 indoor flowering rooms, a breeding lab and special processing areas.
Job Description
As the Cannabis Inventory and Packaging Manager at Almanac Grow, you will be a key player in efficiently managing our cannabis inventory and packaging processes. Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing inventory tracking, quality control, packaging, and compliance with all relevant regulations. This role is crucial to maintaining our reputation for delivering top-tier cannabis products to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of cannabis inventory, including tracking, ordering, receiving, and auditing.
- Oversee the packaging department, ensuring compliance with labelling and packaging regulations.
- Lead a team of packaging technicians and inventory specialists.
- Implement quality control measures to maintain product consistency and quality.
- Collaborate with the compliance team to ensure all state and local regulations are followed.
- Develop and maintain inventory management systems and software.
- Optimize inventory turnover and minimize waste through effective planning and organization.
- Regularly report on inventory levels, packaging activities, and compliance metrics.
- Assist in inventory and packaging audits as required by regulatory agencies.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role within the cannabis industry is highly preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of cannabis inventory management and packaging regulations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Familiarity with cannabis inventory tracking software.
- Knowledge of state and local cannabis regulations and compliance requirements.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.
